Welcome to the official website of Parkwyddn JFC

We are a Charter Standard organisation based on Patricroft recreation ground in Eccles. We are affiliated to Manchester County Football Association. Parkwyddn Junior Football Club have been providing football in the local Eccles community to children and youths since 1987. Originally formed with two age groups, U12’s & U14’s. Since the early years, we have grown in stature and now cover all age groups from U7’s to U16’s as well as our developing soccer school. We are now recognized as one of the bigger clubs providing junior football in the Eccles and Salford area. The Charter Standard is an FA grading for the club which sets out certain requirements that the club must attain every year to maintain the Charter Standard. This is a form of assurance for you that all the coaches within the club have the correct level of qualification and current CRC checks in place. We are working hard to make your time with us a happy one. Our main priority is the safety and well being of everyone under the Parkwyddn umbrella. Parkwyddn JFC are an ambitious club who are growing from strength to strength.

Parents Information

We ask that parents adhere to the information below for the safety and well being of all of our players:

  • It is essential to bring your child a drink to all training and match sessions.
  • Ideally we would like all players to wear club training kits during training sessions . Kits are available here: Training Kit
  • No Match kit to be worn on training days.
  • Dress your child appropriately. Skins or base-layers are advised on wintery match days as well as a jacket for when not on the pitch.
  • Shin pads must be worn at all matches, friendlies and training sessions.
  • The correct Footwear must be worn at all times. If in doubt, please consult with your child’s coach, as referees can carry out spot checks. The footwear must be appropriate to the surface being played on.

How much does it cost to register my child with Parkwyddn?
Registration fees are £25 per player. However, any additional siblings qualify for a 50% discount if they reside at the same address.
Is there a monthly subscription cost?
Yes, we have a monthly club subscription fee of £20 for player in teams U7s to 13s.  U14s to U16s have a monthly fee of £22. Subscription fees are payable 12 months of the year. A £5 discount is offered to siblings residing at the same address.
Why do we have to pay subscription fees?
As with most grassroots clubs, we are non profit run by volunteers who spare there free time to help keep things running a smoothly as they can.  Every committee member and coach is a volunteer.  Running the club can be very costly so before we look at purchasing any training equipment we have to be sure all fees are covered.  Fees we have to pay include for example, pitch fees (the recreation ground), Winter training, Astro rental for all teams & League fees, Training for coaches, first aid courses and much more. We then want good training equipment and to do whatever we can to improve the club year on year.
