Match Report:

This is one of those games I really wish I could watch back. Cup Final day in Failsworth for our Under 11 Predators. A few nerves kicking around before kick off but all the lads were looking forward to playing in the final and their last game in Failsworth.

We were one nil down within the first minute but got straight back into it and started creating chances, we just couldn’t beat the offside flag and kept getting caught out. Wythenshawe jumped on their chances and before we knew it we were 4 nil down. The lads are looking a bit shell-shocked, they had been playing well though. Alex finished off a chance really well just before half time and it really got them going and you could tell they wanted more goals and wanted them quickly

The boys came out 2nd half and put in the performance of their lives. The effort which they put in was phenomenal. goals 2,3 and 4 came (Joshua and John x2) and all of a sudden its 4-4 with 5 minutes to go. Coaches, parents and staff are getting ready for a penalty shootout. We are still putting loads of pressure on at this point and jumped on a defensive mistake to score the winner with 2 minutes to go. (Joshua)

Every single player in that squad deserved that feeling when the full time whistle went. A big mention to Ollie who couldn’t be there today but has played a massive part this season.

Very well done to Wythenshawe Celtic too who made it a brilliant final to watch. The way the players of both team congratulated each other was top class

Scott and myself have been working with the lads on keeping their heads up if its going against them and today was a very proud moment for us to watch the team do what they did.

A very successful season for the team. New players coming in and fitting right in. The whole team working together. 2 cups and some top moments to look back on. Well done!!!
